FAQ

Does Scan Budget store my receipts?

Receipts are processed to extract transactions. Storage behavior depends on your settings. We minimize data retention.

Which currencies are supported?

We normalize to ISO 4217 codes — USD, EUR, GBP, JPY, and more. Symbols like $, €, £ are mapped automatically.

Can I edit a transaction after import?

Yes. Every imported item can be edited, recategorized, or deleted inside the app at any time.

Can I export my transactions?

Yes. Use the Export feature to generate a CSV of your transactions — filtered by date, category, or currency — and receive it by email.

Does audio parsing work in any language?

Audio is transcribed using AI (Whisper). It supports many languages; English gives the most accurate results for amounts and categories.
